On top of that Ryzen platforms had their own issues with the boards themselves and the chipset that was causing issues with Armory Crate. Now it’s amazing as all jugs for that platform is gone. Armory Crate was just becoming a thing back then and it was an utter nightmare getting everything to work. Along with all of Asus first generation hardware such as the Thor 1200, Ryujin 360 and all their mice and headsets. I’m on Z390 platform which is now legacy. A single windows corruption can ruin any RGB software. On top of all of that Windows changed how they allow apps to be on the store or their own download and that was a nightmare with Windows having hundreds of bugs and things that would corrupt the entire system. When they release a new piece of software it requires working on over 75 different prices of hardware in most cases with all half of those running completely different windows versions and nvidia driver versions. People forget Asus is a massive company with a massive portfolio of hardware and software. X570 was new and Armory Crate was just getting out of the beta stage. As for your issues that’s very common when on a new platform. Armory ll will work well with other softwares. Armory Crate doesn’t work well with other RGB software at all. Armory Crate and Armory ll will cause issues and not work together. If you have anything more like a Rog motherboard or GPU or like me an entire Asus build. If you are using just peripherals from Asus use Armory ll. They advertise Armory ll I’m not even sure why as some stuff cannot even use it. I definitely would use Armory Crate over Armory ll. I can't guarantee it won't be unstable for you since I don't know everything about your system, but assuming no outlier issues, this should result in a fairly stable system. This will be your best bet for a clean, well functioning install of the software This should take roughly 1-2.5h from experience once in Armory Crate, go to update page for the RGB application drivers in the Settings > "Update Center" and ensure all the Device/component stuff is up to date.download and install Armory Crate from support page for Dark Hero.create restore point after you've now reached the point of a fresh, up-to-date windows install.now update all drivers and such for every other hardware component.after windows is running, update it (this may take multiple restarts).Install Windows from USB install created from Rufus clear all partitions on boot drive before creating main system partition. After Bios update on Mobo load Default profile.Check RAM on QVL list for MOBO (this means it has been officially beeen tested to work).Create Windows install from Rufus open source software.Mostly, I just think they make sub-par stuff outside of few specific product categories. I use Logitech peripherals (G915 TKL KB, G604 Mouse, Brio WebCam) I wouldn't really trust Asus branded ones, honestly.
